Tech Tuesday : Justin Martin

It's no secret that Justin Martin and Dirtybird Records are some of my favorite things in dance music these days, but did you know that they just released a fabulous new EP? Robot Romance is Justin Martin's first solo EP on DB since 2005, and it was definately worth the wait!

The title cut is a wonky tech tune with lots of chunky drums and a blissed out, 808 breakdown that sends you to a fantasy land of flying unicorns and rainbow waterfalls.

The B-side, Get Low, on the other hand, is a electro-boogie workout a la 1987 complete with overlapping vocoder lines and a bevy of sternum rattling kicks that will loosen up even the tightest of booty's.

I've posted both tunes for you PREVIEWing enjoyment, however, they've both been encoded at 96kbps, so, if you love these tunes and can't live without them, you know what to do. And if your silly enough to try and dj these bits out in 96, I'd just have to wonder how good a job yer momma did a raisin' ya.
